Joseph Coelho at British Library and Poetry Prompts
Waterstones Children’s Laureate Joseph Coelho is an award-winning performance poet, playwright and children’s author based in Kent. On 7th October 2023 Joseph will complete his extraordinary ‘Library Marathon’ by joining the final library of this epic, nationwide tour: the British Library. This will mean that Joseph has joined 213 libraries as part of his cross-country mission to champion their vital role. Joseph revealed that his smash-hit ‘Poetry Prompts’ will also return on 11 September for a stellar second year – and featuring a raft of special guests including: Shini Somara, David Atherton, Chris Smith, MC Grammar, Nicola Davies, Konya Kanneh-Mason and Jenny Graham with further stars to be announced.
