Tina Mories Joins Midas as Account Director

Joining Midas from HarperCollins Children’s Books, Tina will work across a range of leading publishing brands, book prizes, festivals and book campaigns at Midas.

As PR Campaign Director at HarperCollins Children’s Books from February 2020, Tina lead book campaigns for best-selling authors including David Walliams, Alice Oseman, Derek Landy, Holly Smale, Aisling Fowler, Hannah Gold and Eoin Colfer.

Tina was previously Senior PR Manager at Bonnier Books working across YA imprint Hot Key Books and middle grade fiction imprint Piccadilly Press. During her tenure she lead a number of top ten bestselling campaigns, working with key authors such as Holly Black, E. Lockhart, Garth Nix, Robert Muchamore, Isla Fisher and Konnie Huq. The campaign for Cookie! And the Most Annoying Boy in the World was the biggest selling hardback debut in the children’s category (2019) and was shortlisted for the PPC Children’s Campaign of the Year.

Tina began her career in PR at Abrams & Chronicle Books, where she worked across a range of non-fiction campaigns for Michelle Visage, Lisa Eldridge, James Elroy and the bestselling The Wes Anderson Collection and led on brand illustrated titles for Disney, Pixar, Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar.

Tina won the 2021 PPC Award for YA fiction campaign with Yusef Salaam and Ibi Zoboi’s stunning novel in verse Punching the Air, and was highly commended at the PPC Awards in 2022 for Blue Peter Book Award-winner and Waterstones Children’s Book of the Year, Hannah Gold’s inspirational best-selling debut The Last Bear.
