Poetry Prompts

Congratulations to Waterstones Children’s Laureate Joseph Coelho who this week celebrated the 75th video in his wonderful Poetry Prompts series! Joseph was joined by wildlife conservationist and CBeebies presenter Chantelle Lindsay to talk about teeny tiny creatures and create some “bug-sized” poems. The free-to-watch Poetry Prompts series is a terrific resource for all ages, and aims to break down the fear often associated with reading and writing poetry and show why poems are for everyone! Head to the BookTrust website to watch Joseph’s inspiring videos.
