Gimme Some Sugar – a new exhibition by SJ Fuerst
American figurative painter SJ Fuerst’s solo exhibition Gimme Some Sugar opened at the prestigious and historical Malta Society of Arts in Valletta on Thursday. The show playfully celebrates candy’s presence in pop culture – with SJ’s bright, humorous, and seductive paintings representing society’s love affair with sugar. The show is pure joy, but not quite as innocent as the candy coating suggests. The exhibition is open until 23 May. Follow @SJFuerst on Instagram for the latest updates. #GimmeSomeSugar
