Gimme Some Sugar
We are delighted to announce Gimme Some Sugar, a solo exhibition by American figurative painter SJ Fuerst that playfully celebrates candy’s presence in pop culture. Hosted at the prestigious and historical Malta Society of Arts in Valletta, the exhibition will take place from Thursday 2nd – Thursday 23rd May 2024.
The River Man
Today, Audible releases Original title The River Man by R.B. Croft, narrated by award-winning actor Dominic West. The River Man expertly bends genres, taking listeners on a spine-tingling ride through crime, drama and the supernatural, with Dominic West’s performance holding the audience captive until the very end.

#WindhamCampbellPrizes
The 2024 #WindhamCampbellPrizes recipients will be announced on Tuesday 2 April! Eight extraordinary writers will be awarded $175,000 each for their literary achievements across four categories: fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and drama. The Windham-Campbell Prizes are a major global prize that recognises eight writers each year for literary achievement across four categories – fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and drama. With annual prize money exceeding $1.4m USD – and total prize money awarded over the past decade at over $18m USD – they are one of the most significant prizes in the world.The announcement video will be going live on Instagram (@windhamcampbell), X/Twitter (@WindhamCampbell), and windhamcampbell.org on Tuesday, April 2 at 7:15 pm BST / 2:15 pm EDT
Bookshop.org x BookTrust’s first charity drive ‘Read It Forward’ provides 1,000 extra families with reading support
The results are in! Through their charitable initiative #ReadItForward, launched last February in partnership with BookTrust, Bookshop.org have raised money to support over 1,000 families, bringing books to children who need them the most. Read It Forward encouraged all parents, teachers, guardians and educators to purchase children’s books from Bookshop.org throughout the month of February, with 10% of the sales of each children’s book sold via the platform donated to the UK’s largest children’s reading charity.
