Bookshop.org launches Read It Forward with BookTrust

From 1st February, Bookshop.org is launching Read It Forward, their first charitable partnership with BookTrust, whereby they’ll donate 10% of every children’s book sale made in February to the UK’s largest children’s reading charity, while also supporting independent bookshops.

Launching just in time for the February half-term, ‘Read It Forward’ is Bookshop.org’s most ambitious charitable drive to date, with the money raised going towards getting children reading – especially those from low-income families or vulnerable backgrounds.

Michael J. Chaplin

We marked the debut of Michael J. Chaplin’s historical fiction novel, A Fallen God, with a special launch event at Waterstones Piccadilly which included a performative reading from the book by Michael’s daughter and actress Dolores Chaplin. We have garnered support for the book with interviews placed in The Guardian, Sunday Express, RTE Radio’s Ray D’Arcy Show, TalkRadio Europe, and a series of BBC regional radio interviews. We are anticipating further media coverage to land in the coming weeks. Watch this space.
